Pico Veleta, located in the Sierra Nevada of Granada and with an altitude of 3,398 meters, is an excellent option to explore the beautiful landscapes while challenging your body with a steep hike throughout most of the route. It is a summit that can be achieved in a day with the right attitude to reach the top and feel the satisfaction of the accomplishment.

This adventure is privileged as it can be done all year round, with warmer clothing and specific equipment in winter, surrounded by skiers and snowboarders. In summer, you can escape the heat of the city and enjoy the fresh mountain air while wearing a t-shirt.

Route description:

  • Location: Hoya de la Mora, Sierra Nevada National Park
  • Elevation gain: 898 meters
  • Total time: 6 hours

Difficulty:

Moderate (average physical condition). No prior experience is necessary, as our guides will accompany you throughout the entire route.
